General Manager — Dave Anderson
Dave has a strong food beverage and events operations background. Having held various senior positions within the hospitality industry as well as owning his own catering business Dave ensures that all aspects of the Marlborough Vintners Hotel operations are meeting their targets and objectives. Dave also offers a friendly, personable approach to guest relations and is responsible for promoting and marketing the business.  Dave has a broad understanding of the industry as a whole and is committed to ongoing initiatives to enhance the guest experience.

Operations Manager — Sarah Anderson
Sarah also stems from a strong hospitality background. Sarah studied both commerce and hotel management at university before embarking overseas where she owned and operated successful restaurants and catering operations in the UK.  Sarah began her career in hotels in Christchurch and has been in the industry for the entirety of her career. Sarah ensures that the guest experience is exceptional and combines creative planning and attention to detail in the events and marketing arenas.

Office Manager — Alison Bishop
Alison brings to Marlborough Vintners Hotel a wealth of knowledge and experience from time working in a number of hotels in the Milford Sound districts. Having a banking background and strong interest in financial management, Alison ensures that all the relevant business information is applied and organised appropriately.

Head Chef — Kay Henderson
Creative and dynamic with a passion and flair for local produce and food. Kay comes from a strong food background having worked extensively in Nelson, Marlborough and in the Yarra Valley. Kay brings a fresh perspective and innovative, polished food to our dining room, our events and our to catering operations. With a background in some of the top wine regions in both New Zealand and Australia her wine and food matching skills are highly regarded and her management skills and on-going training in hotel management make her a great asset to the team.

Guest Services — Sharyn Marfell
Having been with the business from the beginning Sharyn is responsible for all aspects of the guest experience as our full time reservations and receptionist. Her role also includes the supervision of the housekeeping operation of the hotel and hosting guests at breakfast. Sharyn brings a wealth of local knowledge about the area and is expert at providing assistance with tours, activities and information.
